What is a quad tour, really?
A four-wheeled grin over 150m of sand.
A quad (ATV) is a four-wheeled motorbike with a motorcycle-style seat you straddle. Easy to learn, hard to put down — they're the perfect Sahara plaything for groups of mixed ability, mixed confidence, mixed age.
Our CFMOTO 520L 4x4 beasts gulp sand, climb dunes and idle through Berber villages without complaint. You ride in convoy behind our guide. We set the pace based on your group's skill — never faster than your slowest rider is comfortable.

Quad FAQ
Quick answers.
Do I need a driving licence?
No licence required for any of our quad tours. We'll do a 5-minute training session before you ride, including throttle control, braking, and how to descend dunes safely.
Are quad tours safe for kids or older riders?
Yes. Children can ride as passengers with an adult (no extra charge on most tours). We've hosted riders aged 8 to 76. The pace is set by your group's least experienced rider.
Single or 2-seater?
Either works — CFMOTO 520L 4×4 quads are designed to take a passenger. If you want your own quad, just book one per rider. Couples often share.
What should I wear?
Comfortable long pants, closed-toe shoes, sunglasses. We provide helmets, gloves and goggles. Bring a bandana for the dust — you'll thank us in the dunes.
What's the difference between 1hr, 2hr, 3hr and half-day?
Pure time-on-the-quad and how far we go. 1hr is a taste (sunset sprint). 2hrs is the sweet spot. 3hrs adds palmeraie & a tea stop. Half-day adds a Berber lunch. Full-day is expedition territory.
What's included?
Quad, helmet, goggles, gloves, fuel, insurance, guide, water, mint tea. Hotel pickup in Merzouga. Lunch is included from half-day upward. Bookings from outside Merzouga need a transfer — we'll quote one.
