OUR STORY · SINCE 2014

Born in the dunes.
Built for riders.

Enduro Experiences is a small, Berber-run outfitter in Merzouga. We're nine locals — guides, mechanics, drivers, a guesthouse manager — who grew up riding these dunes and now run Merzouga's most-loved KTM, quad and buggy tours.

The short version

Three KTMs.
One 4×4. No compromises.

Enduro Experiences started in 2014 when our founder, a Berber from Merzouga, bought three used KTM 450 EXCs and a battered Toyota Land Cruiser with a stubborn belief that the desert is best shared with people who actually live in it.

The local motorcycle scene was dominated by rental shops importing bikes from Casablanca, where nobody really understood Erg Chebbi's specifics. Our founder had spent twenty-five years riding Erg Chebbi on camels, motorbikes, and ATVs — and he knew exactly what riders wanted: bikes that started every morning, guides who knew the bowls, transparent pricing, and a cup of mint tea at the end of the day.

Today we're nine people, fourteen KTMs, a dozen CFMOTO quads, twelve ZFORCE buggies, two support 4×4s and one stubborn commitment: every bike is checked daily, every group gets a private guide, every rider leaves with our number — and most of them call.

We're TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice. We're licensed by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism. And we pay our guides a fixed wage plus 100% of tips. No commission pressure. No upcharges. No "optional insurance" added on arrival.

What we believe

Four things we don't compromise on.

Bikes are checked daily

Every bike gets a full mechanical check before each tour. If it doesn't pass the morning inspection, you don't ride it.

Guides are locals

Born in Merzouga, raised in the dunes, certified in first-aid and off-road guiding. They speak English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Honest pricing

No insurance upsells at the door. No fuel surcharge. No "tourist tax" added on the way. The quote we send is the price you pay.

Real local roots

100% Berber-owned, 100% Merzouga-based, 100% of guides are born in this exact village. We hire locally, we buy locally.

Where the dunes live

Merzouga isn't a tour. It's a place.

Merzouga is a small Amazigh (Berber) village on the edge of the Sahara in southeastern Morocco. It's famous for Erg Chebbi — a 22km-long, 5km-wide wall of sand dunes, peaking at 150m. To the south, the wind pushes the dunes into Algerian territory. To the north, a vast stony desert — the Hammada — stretches to the Atlas.

For centuries, the people here have been nomads. The men rode camels, traded salt, traveled the caravan routes to Timbuktu. Today they ride motorcycles — and we open up what they know.
